How To Set Up ProPresenter To Be Used With Your TriCaster Via NDI
ProPresenter has taken over as a go-to for graphics in live broadcasts because of it’s robust tool set. More schools and churches are discovering the power of NDI and using ProPresenter as the graphics and playback option for your broadcast is a natural progression as the broadcast expectations continue to grow.
Setting up ProPresenter for NDI is a simple process that requires a couple of clicks.
Go To “Screens” in the main menu at the top of the application.
Click “Configure Screens”
In the box that opens, you will see “audience” and “stage,” make sure you are working in the audience box.

Click the “plus” sign next to audience.
In the next box that opens, click “New NDI.”
Then select the specs for your broadcast
Next go to the “Alpha Key” tab.
Change from “none” to “premultiplied”
Then you will see that the NDI output box opens and includes the computer name that you are using.
You will now go to your TriCaster and set up the input that you want to use for the graphics. Make sure your ProPresenter computer is sending a graphics (it makes is easier to know you are actually receiving something).
